A lot of bad debug decisions come from bad measurements, not bad circuits.
- Use the shortest practical ground connection
- Know when probe capacitance is changing the signal
- Do not trust auto scale or auto trigger without thinking
- Match bandwidth limit and sample depth to the problem
- Use differential probing when ground reference is unsafe or misleading
If a capture is central to your question, include the scale, bandwidth limit status, probe ratio, trigger condition, and what node you used as reference.
